Michael J. Hebenstreit

Mike Hebenstreit is a general partner who has represented individuals, families and small businesses in connection with whatever problems that arise.  He is a true general  practitioner.  Having begun his practice with a financial institution, he has always practiced in the areas of business contracts and disputes and as well as Bankruptcy matters.  As a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee, Mike has been involved in all forms of individual and business Bankruptcy matters. Mike also represents clients in family law and real estate matters as well as preparation of wills and handling Probate proceedings.

Mike is a lifelong resident of Indianapolis having graduated from Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School.  He is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Indiana University Robert H.  McKinney School of Law.

Giving back to the community has always been important to Mike.  Having been a long time member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, he served in a number of leadership positions including serving as its President in 2011.  Mike had been very involved in 500 Festival and the Crossroads Council of the Boy Scouts holding a number of leadership positions including a member of the Executive Board.

Few people really want to deal with an attorney, but when the situation arises, it is important to hire an attorney who will provide an honest assessment of the situation.  Mike has always strived to be a trusted counselor and strong advocate for his clients.

In addition to the practice of law, Mike enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, distance bicycle trips and all outdoor activities.
